Creeping thymes are immensely popular and look great planted in cracks between paving stones,
spreading across gravelled areas, or indeed as a 'thyme lawn'.
In common with other thymes it prefers poor conditions and a sunny spot.
Light gravelly soil is ideal, giving the best aromatic foliage and flowers.
Thyme Bressingham Pink looks great in a mixed thyme planting, combining particularly well with the
darker flowers of Thyme Caborn Wine and Roses,
and a good contrast to the bright green foliage and
white flowers of Creeping White Thyme.
In addition it is a good companion for smaller herbs and perennials which enjoy dry conditions, try
planting with Helianthemum 'Ben Ledi' or
the contrasting and later flowering Creeping Savory.
